Dynamic Hidden field doesn’t render when set as a required field

I used the form builder to created a dynamic hidden field that I set as required. Here is the output. I am using a custom shortcode as the data.

[dynamichidden* dynamichidden-830 "CF7_post_url"]

It doesn’t render the hidden output field to the CF7 form, instead it just shows that shortcode text exactly as shown above.
