I would like to use Relevanssi on one of my pages because it also searches shortcodes.

The theme pro (from ThemeCo) which I mainly use generates more dynamic content using custom shortcodes like {{dc:post:title}}, which displays the title of the post.

Would it be possible to search the complete parsed content?

Also, the search behaves strangely when you are logged in or not. It even redirects to the home page instead of showing “No search term found”.

I’d go with the lower priority, because then you don’t overwrite the page builder short code cleanup. That happens on priority 9 (to happen before the default 10, that’s important for most use cases), and I’m not going to change that – it doesn’t really make much difference whether it’s any number in the range 2–9, as long as it’s possible to add filters before it and it happens before 10. So it’s 9, and changing it won’t make any difference, so I’m likely never changing it. Using anything lower than 9 for your function should thus be fine.

Ok, thanks, then i will stay with the $post_content string on lower (or should it be named higher?) priority.

Maybe you could add this to your Knowledge base too.
