Dying on step 3

    Step 2 works fine w/ no errors, but I get a 403 error when moving onto step 3. Database was created, and WP was able to make tables, PHP is 4.3.4, MySQL is 3.23.49
    My DNS hasn’t propagated yet, so I’m installing using the ‘long url’ to my host:
    Site: http://www.mookitty.co.uk
    Blog will be at: poker.mookitty.co.uk
    ‘poker’ subdomain points to: http://www.mookitty.co.uk/poker
    Using while waiting for DNS: http://server1.web-mania.com/users/mookitty/poker/
    WP is installed in the ‘poker’ dir.
    But it still craps out when going onto step 3. do I need to wait until my DNS working? Help!

    Kitten, I’m no expert at this but I think you might have to wait for the DNS to propagate before it’ll work. Sometimes subdomains can be tricky without the DNS set right.

    I’ve decided the same thing, even after trying the nightly, and not using the subdomain, the problem was still there. I’ll try it agian tomorrow and see if propagation fixes it, thanks!
