I use Contact Form 7 on a page. And I use DW. Contact Form 7 uses Error messages on the form fields when a user forgets to fill in the form field. These error messages are put on the page with CSS, to position them hovering above the form fields, with a red border around them.

But when I use DW on the Content/Sidebar template, showing the specific Widgets I want, the Contact Form 7 form I use on that page does not use CSS anymore to show the Error Messages, they are suddenly in plain HTML and no longer hovering above the form fields, and without the coloured borders. When I use the Standard template for the forms page, which is not touched by DW, the Error Messages show correctly with CSS.

As if DW’s CSS conflicts with the Contact Form 7 CSS somewhere.

I’m sorry, DW does not use CSS, JavaScript or whatever front-end techniques there are for the showing or hiding of widgets. The showing and hiding of widgets is completely done in the back-end.

This must be something else going wrong. I suspect a widget.
