    Hi guys,
I have created an installer and zip archive using duplicator on a Debian 9 system running Virtualmin control panel (works no problems)

I then go to a second server that i own running Centos 7 with Centos-web panel.

I download the installer and zip to my desktop pc from the Virtualmin system, then log into the Centos-web panel VPS and upload both files.

According to CWP, both files upload successfully, however, the zip archive is not there. I have checked in putty and the directory shows only the installer (Even when i type ls -a)

Any ideas on what the problem is?
Is it possible to use another archive format with duplicator that will work with Centos -web Panel?

Also, i am wondering if the issue is the length of the archive filename…its got an enormously long number of characters. Can i shorten this? Is so what do i need to modify in the installer so that i can rename the archive and it still work?

  • Hey @computersimulatorscom

The archive name has to stay the same because the name is keyed for the installer and is used to keep the files secure. I’m not 100% sure, I have never heard of this issue, to be honest. Does your server have some kind of file name length (that is really uncommon on Linux distros)? Might double check with your host or server admin to see what the problem is…

    Thanks~

you missed a part of my post…

What format is the archive stored in? and what hash is used?

There are two formats the archive can be stored in. The first is .zip and .daf. The .daf is a custom format that strings together byte strings. Based on the settings of the plugin you can switch between both. If you haven’t already tried .daf you can switch it by going to the Settings > Packages section.

    Hope that helps~
