Duplicator stuck scanning

    Hello, I am working on a website for a client (http://scarletjonestravels.com) and I am trying to use duplicator to make a backup.

    It gets stuck at the scanning stage and just doesn’t do anything after tht. The host is GoDaddy.

    Can someone please help?

    I also tried BackWPup which also got stuck and Updraft which took forever. I’m on an island with incredibly slow wifi (6 MB upload and 1-2 download).

    What should I do?

    Hey Jenny,

    Typically on budget hosts you should be able to get past the scanner, usually where people have issues is on the build. You might try to create a directory filter to see if that helps. The FAQ also has some tips for working with timeouts that you might try…
