 * Hi Cory,
 * Thank you for your hard work in supporting this plug-in. Today I learned the
   importance of having a staging site to not cowboy-code. Eventually, I figured
   out how to use your Duplicator plug-in and I created the installer/archive files
   of my live site, and used them to set up my dev.example.com site in order to
   create my staging environment. So now I have an exact replica of my live site.
 * My question is this: “How do I reverse the process after I have a finished product?”

   That is, how do I create and migrate the installer/archive files from my dev.
   example.com site to my live site @ example.com
 * I read through this tutorial that you have [(Duplicator Rollback) ](https://snapcreek.com/blog/wordpress/techniques/how-to-roll-back-wordpress-site-duplicator-pro/)
   and am not quite sure this would work. Am I missing something? Thank you for
   your help Cory.

 * I think I might’ve figured it out…
 * Correct me if I’m wrong:
    1) Open the file directory of the live site in cPanel,
   delete all the contents (make sure you have a back-up first) 2) upload the installer/
   archive files from my dev.example.com site 3) run the installer.php file and
   voilà?
 * I think that tutorial I mentioned above pretty much details that process right?
   I am beginning to see the importance of creating a separate DB before doing all
   the above first.
 * Sorry, I am new to WP, just started today.

 * That is correct. The best approach would be to create 3 sites:
 * 1. example.com
    2. stage.example.com 3. dev.example.com
 * Move your dev site to the stage site to make sure everything works as planned.
   This will also confirm your familiar with the move process. Then you can do the
   same with dev to your live site once your confident in the move process.
 * Hope that helps~
