Duplicated Site Domain Mapping Effects On SEO

    Hi

    I hope you are well and can assist me.

    I had to create a duplicate site to test a new theme. The theme is complicated (classifieds) and I could not just upgrade from the old to the new. Now that I know the new theme works for me I realised that I can just as well map this site with the domain mapping plugin and the domain I have on the old site.

    My question:

    How will this affect my SEO with search engines in the short run? I suppose it will be ok in the long run.

    Thanks

    Johan

    @jas956

    This question requires research as there are search engines that use Google’s organic search algorithm while others don’t.

    Either way, here’s a good tool to find out more about your Website and how it interacts with Google, it’s SEO, it’s Open Graph, and all that jive.

    Hope this helps.
