# Duplicate URLs

 * Hi Everyone,
 * I’m wondering if someone can help me figure out this issue.
 * It seems after doing a site: google search that each one of my pages has a duplicate
   url attached to it.
 * For instance:
 * [http://www.example.com/schools](http://www.example.com/schools)
 * is also listed as
 * [http://www.example.com/?page_id=37](http://www.example.com/?page_id=37)
 * I’m not sure but I would think this counts as duplicate content or websites in
   google.
 * Does anyone know how to eliminate this problem?

 * It does not seem to be a problem because the second URL is the default one and
   the first one looks like your custom permalink. If so, it won’t be counted as
   duplicate by Google. If you can post the actual links someone here can look into
   that and tell you what is exactly happening.
