[resolved] Duplicate Site Title shows up inside plugin HTML code and on top of web page (5 posts)

    After installing All in One SEO Pack I suddenly experienced a duplicate site title at the top of blog post pages, as in the screen grab here: http://screencast.com/t/qofEpluMnJ

    When examining the code I noticed that it showed up inside the All in One SEO Pack plugin's code area, as shown here: http://screencast.com/t/bapkmw0hTX7f (the code is also pasted in below in this post)

    If I remove the title in general settings the duplicate is removed, but so is the actual title where I want it to be.

    Edit: Se it for yourself on my blog here.

    Any idea what could cause this?

    I might add that this does not happen on the main index page.

    Edit: And also not on my "Bilder"-page (Photos). The code here in the AIOSEO plugin area is quite different as you can see:

    <link rel="canonical" href="http://www.grafillillustrasjon.no/bilder/" />
    <!-- /all in one seo pack -->

    Any particular reason the code is so different for one page?

    Hi, you might have problem in your theme for the duplicate meta issue. I recommend change to WP default theme and check out the result and fix your theme as necessarily.

    Thanks, it is probably true that the AIOSEOP plugin conflicts with the theme somehow.

    I am using the Sampression Lite theme. It uses the main site title as the title for every page and post which is kind of annoying (it doesn't pick up the individual post/page title). I like the theme otherwise, but it is frustrating that it is not more compatible with AIOSEOP.

    The easiest way to fix it for now, is to turn off the plugin. But I would like to find the code in the theme that does this, and fix it. Any idea where I should start looking?

    The last update (version 2.0) of AIOSEOP resolved the issue above.
