Duplicate Product Instances on Algolia

I have a production website and a testing website. When issues need to be tested, I copy the production website to the testing site. However, when I create the testing copy, the plugins (and I would assume the API connections of Algolia) of the production site copy over as well. Because of this, I think two instances of the same product are created. If users search for products on the production website, sometimes variants will appear that will lead them to the testing website (image attached for reference).

Is there a way to prevent these duplicates from being created or another fix for this issue? Please let me know if there are any further questions I can answer about my issue.
