# Duplicate Posts and Revisions

 * My revisions seem to be posting. When I search my site, I noticed that when I
   type “roth IRA” it returns the same post multiple times. The strangest part is
   that the permalinks say “revision” and just give me a 404 error. One works, which
   is the good post.
 * I see all the revisions on the backend too but can’t delete them. It’s happened
   to a few posts. I’m not sure exactly how many are messed up this way.
 * sicklehunterblog.com is the site.
 * I have disabled all but the necessary plug-ins.
 * Any help would be great!

 * There are two plugins you should install

   set the number of revisions to a reasonable number such as 2
 * and
    maybe this plugin [http://wordpress.org/plugins/revision-delete/](http://wordpress.org/plugins/revision-delete/)
   there may be a better one search for it in the archives I can’t remember the 
   one i use but the first plugin I install is Revision Control when i start a new
   website

 * Again, use only well known, popular, well supported, and always up to date plugins.
