Duplicate postings on the homepage of the blog

    Hello,

    Would appreciate any feedback on why this is currently happening.

    When a post is made to the homepage of the blog, it’s duplicating so there are two posts side by side.

    I’ve been trying any number of things but I don’t understand why suddenly whenever there is a post to the blog, it duplicates it on the homepage.

    Don’t understand if this has to do with the theme of the blog or not. The blog uses Emerald. You can see what it looks like here:

    Can you replicate the problem using the default Twenty Twelve theme with all plugins deactivated?

    Not sure about replicating the problem using a different theme and deactivating all of the plugins. I’m doing work for a client and I’d rather not to have to go that route.

    There is no magic bullet in these situations. This is just the start of basic troubleshooting and is a process of elimination deliberately designed to locate the root cause as quickly as possible by first removing the most obvious and common culprits via a series of (often) temporary steps.
