Support » Plugin: Seriously Simple Podcasting » Duplicate podcasts showing in feed

  • Hi there,

I’m using your plugin to host postcasts for my client and it’s an excellent plugin, but there seems to be an issue in the feed where podcasts are showing twice despite my client only uploading them once and them showing only once in wordpress:

Do you know what this might be and how I can resolve it?

    Many thanks,

    Matt Pollard

@rocketmatt thanks for letting us know you are seeing this issue. Can you tell us a bit more about the rest of your site? What theme and plugins you are using?

    Hi @itsjusteileen

It’s a custom theme built by myself, mostly using Advanced Custom Fields. But other plugins are:

    – Advanced Mobile Pages
    – Ajax Load More
    – Akismet Anti-Spam
    – Companion Sitemap Generator
    – Featured Images in RSS for Mailchimp
    – FooBox Image Lightbox
    – GDPR Cookie Compliance
    – Google Tag Manger for WordPress
    – Gravity Flow
    – Gravity Forms
    – Imagify
    – Permalink Manager Lite
    – Reading Time WP
    – Really Simple SSL
    – Simple History
    – Simple Local Avatars
    – SlideShare
    – The Events Calendar
    – WP Health
    – Yoast SEO

    Hope that helps!

    Hello!

Any update on this? We still have the issue so any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you!

Hello @rocketmatt, thanks for providing that list. When working as expected, the plugin will not create duplicate items in the feed as you describe. This could be due to a plugin conflict and I suggest running a theme and plugin conflict test which can help isolate where the issue is and let us know what you find so we can take a closer look.
