Hi, I’m guessing that WordPress is having trouble removing the files from your server. Try using FTP to go in and manually delete all three copies of the plugin and then re-install it.

    Thanks for your quick answer!

I had copied the meteor-slides-plugin.php file twice. Something i do to prevent me deleting things and not being able to restore. Deleting those copies was the solution.

Another question: My slider doens’t work with the WMPL Language plugin. When i switch from main language to English it disappears.

    Any idea how that’s possible?

I haven’t use the WPML plugin, but I know that other people are using it with Meteor Slides. Make sure you have a copy of the slideshow shortcode in both versions of the content. Also, I think you can exclude the slides post type and the slideshows taxonomy from being translated in the plugin settings?

I deactivated the translate option for the Custom Post Type, now it works.
