  • Hi guys,

    Have had a lot of duplicate payments lately. Some only seconds apart, others days apart. Have talked to eway and its not their end (they see the transaction being requested by the website multiple times).

    We have eliminated users resubmitting the page. I believe their is a bug somewhere.

    Whats even stranger – we have another site – (completely seperate site). It uses woo commerce and eway (unlike the site that users gravity forms and eway). It too is doing the same thing.

    Only started a few weeks ago.

    Help 🙂 Its causing quite a bit of distress.

    G’day Pete,

    Very strange, I wonder if you’ve changed something with your caching or added some plugins recently?

    Best bet for Gravity Forms eWAY is to create a separate confirmation page and change your form settings to use that page. That way, if a customer leaves their browser open to your form confirmation, all it can reload is the confirmation page.

    For the WooCommerce one, even stranger; likely a problem with the theme. I recommend changing to the official WooCommerce add-on for eWAY, which separates the card entry from the customer details and thus might resolve your problem.




    Hey mate, no caching.

    I tried to do that for gravity forms – however it does not work. I have created a thank you page and it will not redirect to it at all. Is this something to do with the way eway sends back the info (approved/denied).?

    Any way of just fully scrapping the form data after a submission so it couldnt redirect by itself?

    How are you setting up the Thank You page? Have you done it as the Confirmation page through the form settings?
