 * I only want a vertical menu in the sidebar, which I’ve created without any issues,
but I can’t figure out how to hide or delete the horizontal menu across the top.
I’ve tried several templates but all have the same issue. There are too many
navigation buttons to go across the top without wrapping so just want to go down
   the side.

 * I’m giving up on getting on answer to this and telling my client they will just
have to use the horizontal navigation across the top but if there is an answer
to this, I’d still like to know.
