# Duplicate locations

 * Your documentation on the locations portion of your plug-in is pretty limited.
   There is a checkbox at the top of your locations page that says “Merge duplicates”
   but there is nothing in the documentation that explains how this works. For some
   reason, the plug-in has created many duplicates of our main meeting location.
   I’d like to know how to eliminate these duplicates without eliminating the location
   from existing events.

   screen, found in the top right corner of the admin.

 * That worked. Thanks. But why does the plug-in generate multiple duplicates of
   locations on its own?
