  • Looking back at my logs again for the past few days, I can see that most IP’s are consistently getting logged 4 times in a row. This means the download count is going to be increasing 4 times what it should be.

    Would love to see this get sorted out.

    As well as getting heaps of duplicate entries, I’m also getting a heap of these entries in my log file…

    [26-Oct-2013 05:09:58 UTC] WordPress database error MySQL server has gone away for query INSERT INTO <code>ewpg_download_log</code> (<code>type</code>,<code>user_id</code>,<code>user_ip</code>,<code>user_agent</code>,<code>download_id</code>,<code>version_id</code>,<code>version</code>,<code>download_date</code>,<code>download_status</code>,<code>download_status_message</code>) VALUES ('download',0,'','Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0)',2426,'2427','2.5','2013-10-26 16:09:58','completed','') made by require('wp-blog-header.php'), wp, WP->main, WP->parse_request, do_action_ref_array, call_user_func_array, DLM_Download_Handler->handler, DLM_Download_Handler->trigger, dlm_create_log, DLM_Logging->create_log

    I’m only getting them for Download Monitor. Thought I’d mention in case it was related to the dupliucate entries.

    Not sure why this would be triggered multiple times, but I’m adding a cookie/cookie check to prevent multiple log entries in the next version.
