Duplicate forums

Hi Asgaros,

I already have a forum with 30 topics. what I try to accomplish is to have 2 forums are the same. One is for female, one is for men.

Instead to copy the content, etc one-by-one is the hard way. But, is there’s a way just to duplicate/clone the [forum-1], so I will have [forum-id-1] and [forum-id-2].

Please advise help,

Hey @damndramaqueen,

unfortunately, it’s not possible at the moment to just copy a whole forum. If you have knowledge of databases you could try to copy the forum, but you would have to be careful to change also the IDs of the parent forums and create a unique slug for the copied forums.

So it’s probably faster to just recreate all the forums.

I’m ok with the DB, and it depending what I’m doing? Even I do a backup before hand, for this situation, I’m like playing something very dangerous! I will try it on a practice site later.

Altho it will take longer. but doing it one-by-one on the safe side for now.
