Is this plugin network-active? If BuddyPress is network-active, then this plugin should be too. The key is to activate this plugin only once.
yes..just tested that also..same issue..backend has duplicate xprofile fields and frontend shows the name field…
also https://wordpress.org/plugins/register-ip-multisite/ is not an issue..it creates a separate db entry for signup_ip
i need to try this with a fresh install…will update you christian
Well, that’s very odd. I cannot replicate what you’re seeing no matter what I do. Have you tried this with a clean install and just WP, BP and this plugin? Have you tried switching to a default theme?
thanks christian will do as you advised and update you…thanks once again
am not able to get it work on the current working site of mine…yet to try with fresh install…is my issue related to this:
https://buddypress.org/support/topic/bp-new-registered-user-not-syncing-in-wordpress-4-4-1-usermeta/
@sharmavishal Apologies for getting round to your additional query – been a busy time.
I’m not quite sure how you’re managing to get this plugin to create additional options on the sub-sites. I can’t reproduce this. Admittedly, this plugin should be storing via add_site_option
in multisite, but it should only be network-activated once and the option should therefore be stored in the options table for the main site.
Are you manually activating the plugin on each site? If so, that would be the reason. The solution is only ever network-activate in multisite.
Edit: dammit, next time I must pay attention to pagination! Closing due to inactivity – please reopen a new issue if you find one. Thanks!
