Hello – I just installed the plugin – it is great. Thank you.
I’m starting to load in events. I saved one and it appeared duplicated on my website http://www.makeitbig.com/events/
So I deleted it but one of them remains…
See the event entitled “Design to Part – Schaumburg 2013”
If you click on it .. the page says
“This is somewhat embarrassing, isn’t it?
It seems we can’t find what you’re looking for. Perhaps searching, or one of the links below, can help”

But the event no longer exists in the admin area.

    Any advice appreciated..
    Thanks

hmm, how about using your phpmyadmin then open table wp_em_events and then delete the duplicated events?

Hi thank you so much for the response back. I was able to open the wp_em_events table with phpmyadmin… The table lists a bunch of stuff like event_id, post_id, etc etc. Is there a way to tell which of these to delete to remove the duplicate event? Thank you … Sorry I’m not a technology guy so I’m probably asking really basic stuff.. .

you’d need to probably look at the event_name and search the name title

Ah, yes, I found that. Thank you. It does show that there are two ‘rows’ for that event_name.. But there does not seem to be a way to click on the event names so I can delete the duplicate. Do you know how I can delete it? I can see the events but seemingly not edit them. Thank you

sorry, is this still using phpmyadmin? you just need to click delete beside event_id or set event_status to NULL (click edit then ticked NULL)

Ah…. I just figured it out.. When in phpmyadmin, I had to select ‘browse’ at the top to see the row of records. Then I was able to delete the entries. Thank you ! I’m all set now.
