While I’ve seen this issue started in a couple of threads, neither of them had responses on how to disable the duplicate emails. I would prefer to use the UM email format but disable the WordPress email from being sent at the same time.

There are some plugins available for disabling WordPress emails
like the “Manage Notification E-mails” plugin.

It would make more sense if the UM product had a toggle control for this instead of my having to code something or download another plugin to handle it.
