Duplicate content of the post if no feature image is used

  • Hi,
I have a little problem, when I publish a post without a featured image on my Zoho – WordPress Grid Portfolio , the content of the post appears twice, one is full width and the second one with the sidebar on the right as I wish it would be. I have the same problem when I create an event with the All-In-One Event Calendar plugin, the content is duplicated as you can see in those two example pages :
    1) a post without featured image

    2) an event

Thanks in advance for your help!
    David

    Have you tried:

-deactivating ALL plugins temporarily to narrow down the problem. If the problem goes away, activate them individually (one-by-one) to find the problematic plugin.

-switching to the unedited default theme (twentyeleven) for a moment by renaming your current theme’s folder in wp-content/themes. The idea is to force WordPress to fall back to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific issue.

    Thx, I’ll try that out!

I’ve tried on a local installation without any plugin and the problem is in the theme! If no feature image is used, the content of the post is duplicated twice!

OK,I’ve found the solution, I’ve modified the code so that if there’s no posthumbnail, I deleted the <?php the_content ?>, that was the cause that duplicated the content
