 * Hello, I was enabling multisite for my WordPress installation, which required
   me to edit the htaccess file. I was surprised to see a lot of duplicate code
   in it repeated about 25 times. I did not notice even a characters difference
   anywhere.
 * Is it safe to delete the duplicate entries in the code?

 * Yeah, that’s very weird.
 * If I were you, I’d just delete that `.htaccess` file, then re-save your permalink
   structure at Settings/Permalinks in your admin panel. If WordPress cannot automatically
   edit the `.htaccess` file, it will provide manual instructions after saving.
