Support » Plugin: JQuery Accordion Menu Widget » Duplicate children in different submenus causes both Parents to expand

I am using a custom wordpress theme with Version 3.1.2 of this plugin.

Here is an example of my menu setup.

    Parent 1
    -child A
    -child B
    -child C
    Parent 2
    -child D
    -child A
    -child E

    Here are my widget settings:
    Click
Auto Expand Based on Current Page/Item
    Disable Parent Links
    Auto Close Open Menus

My issue is that if you click on Parent 1 > Child A it expands both parent menus and highlights child A in both of them. I only want it to expand the current Parent menu I’m clicking within. Is there a way to fix this?

    Hi,

The plugin works by identifying the current link using the WordPress menu system, which adds “current-menu-item” to the active link. Obviously wordpress is adding this to both therefore its not possible for the plugin to identify which is the correct one.
