    Can you create a public pastebin so I can see it?

    What are you trying to do? Also, why do you have this in there?

    return apply_filters( 'coauthors_posts_links', $link );

    Well, big picture, I’m trying to create something similar to the authors list page of The Resurgence and then authors archive page similar to theirs, as well.

    But, my intent in posting on the forum is simply to figure out how to eliminate the duplicate author names in posts, as seen in this post.

    And I’m not sure why return apply_filters( ‘coauthors_posts_links’, $link ); is in there – I removed it. I barely know anything about php (or coding in general), so I’m teaching myself as I go. Thanks for your help.

    Daniel – do you know why my authors are being displayed twice and how to remove the duplicate?

    You might want to try swapping et_get_the_author_posts_link() wherever you have it in your theme with coauthors_posts_links().
