# duplicate and edit current gallery functionality

 * Hi All,
 * I modified the default gallery functionality with:
    `add_shortcode('gallery','
   my_gallery_shortcode');` in my theme functions.php file.
 * Now I would like the option to choose between the default gallery and my modified
   gallery, within the media user interface.
 * So another option as ‘create gallery #2’ . Does anybody know if this is possible
   and how?
