Using the shortcodes to display the same ad place twice, is there a way to stop the same ad from displaying twice?? even if there is one would still be better for it not to display twice and for the default to be displayed.

The concept of plugin assumes that Ads Place represents the physical place on the blog page. Using one Ads Place on the two physical places of one page is not consistent with the concept of the plugin. In other words – NO!
