    Due to the DSVGO in Germany, the plugin is problematic due to the IP address storage. Is it possible to insert a checkbox before voting that indicates that the IP address will be saved temporarily?

    Hello

    You can use “GDPR” feature for this.
    Once you enable it, you have 3 options

    – ask for consent
    This option will add a checkbox to your poll asking for voters permission to store their ipaddress and use cookies
    – anonymize ipaddress
    This option will store ipaddresses but will anonymize them before storing.
    Also, cookies won’t be used.
    – do not store ipaddress
    This option will prevent ipaddresses from being stored into the database.
    Also, cookies won’t be used.

    You can find these options by adding/editing a poll and going to Options->Tab.
    They are under “Compliance” section.
