I have a dropdown with 23 options. They do not appear in the right order on the form. Instead of:
```
Not specified
0-1
2
3
...
70-80
80-90
```
they appear like this:
```
2
3
4
5
6
Not specified
0-1
6-8
...
```
Re-arranging them in the Post Form editor doesn’t change the display order.

Can you help? Thank you!

Wish it could be part of WP User Frontend.

Hello There,

Please note the meta_data for drop-down or any custom taxonomies’ terms is stored and save in Lexicographical (a relevant topic about it) order in the system that’s why it will show like that.

And the plugin which @anticosti shared, I believe that one only applicable for custom taxonomies so I don’t think it will be effective with the WPUF field.

Bizarre. If the options are stored in lexicographic order, what’s the point of having a drag-and-drop interface to move them around?

But it doesn’t matter, I decided to do my own coding, so I’m closing the topic.

Thank you, Anticosti. I didn’t expect the options to be stored as a taxonomy, but I could be wrong. Appreciate the comment, though!
