Dropdown Menus in Sidebars

  • I know this has been asked before but I don’t know that it’s been asked recently. I’m also surprised that it’s not possible to do.

Is there a way to, fairly simply (i.e., without writing code) to add dropdown menus to sidebar widgets?

In my case, I’m particularly looking to have a dropdown for my Pages (Site Navigation in my case) widget. Using WP as a full, multi-page website rather than just a linear blog with perhaps only a few other pages causes the Site Navigation menu to be quite long. As I add more pages (in particular for the Lighthouse project) this menu will grow ever longer.

I’ve looked at the PixoPoint plugin but I don’t really see how it can work for sidebars. There are no examples of it on the site that I can find for using in sidebars. I’ve also looked at a couple other plugins (can’t remember names at the moment) that didn’t appear to do what the description might indicate.

    Thanks.
