Hi,
This is my first attempt building a WP site. I have spent days and weeks teaching myself how to use WP. My site has 16 pages so far and I have a horizontal navbar with 5 parent pages(I don’t want a sidebar and have chosen the one column design). I named the parent pages, ‘parent pages’ when I created them. I assigned the child pages to their parent page when I created them. I have created the custom menu and added all my pages and I have dragged all of my sub pages slightly to the right to make them subpages to their corresponding parent. I named my custom menu ‘dropdown menu’ and saved it. I have been trying to get it to function now for two weeks. Independent publisher supports 3 custom menus. I only want 1! I didn’t think I had to add code to my theme to make this function, but do I?
Can you please help me from losing my mind? Thank you in advance!
The Independent Publisher theme does not yet support multi-level menus, so that’s why you’re having trouble. There is a feature request open for adding that feature, and I plan to add that feature and release it in an upcoming theme update. After that update, your multi-level menus will work as expected.
