Hi, is there a plug-in that will allow me to create a simple cascading menu in the header menu? The main nave has three primary buttons – Archive, CV, Contact. The dashboard options as it stands just arranges single row of text menu items. For instance, a consolidated list of archived pages that drops down when clicking “Archive”, instead of relying on a sidebar widget, etc.

    thanks in advance,
    Robert

Looking at your site, You’re using bento theme.

I recommend asking at https://wordpress.org/support/theme/bento so the theme’s developers and support community can help you with this.

Thanks for following up, I poked around and found an old thread that was a simple solution. The parent – child heirachy with menu buttons. Sort of a hidden asset in the menu section of the dashboard. to add a child level button you drag that buttonto the side of the parent when dropping it into the menu set up. some what of a intuitive detail. Hopefully WordPress can make that detail more of a visible with a caption or something in that area.

@visual-mechanics Could you possibly reply with the link to the old thread you found? I believe I’m having a very similar issue.
