• I have a horizontal menu created in WP -Appearance>Menu. In the Links portion of the menu I have created individual pages for the drop down items. Each page has a “keyword” in the shortcode that is used to access a database and populate the page.

My preference is to have a parameter for each drop down item that is passed to a common page. The common page code will take the parameter and apply it to a php switch statement for use in access the DB and (if possible) assigning a title to replace the page title.

I need to know the shortcode for a “customized menu item and the code necessary to start the receiving page code.

    I have tried

but it does not work and the url I get is: http://wcart.net/wordpress/Links/?data=family with a blank page with the title Links.

Any help in solving this issue would be appreciated as everything I’ve read pertains to forms using dropdowns.
