Go to this Link and click on “Download ZIP”.
still didn’t changed a thing.. unfortunately
Do you install that ?
For “refresh”, use CTRL+F5.
Yes, did all of that.
Tomorrow I’ll reinstall the theme and the addons zip. I hope that will work
I don’t know what it is, but still isn’t working…
I don’t see the Addons plugin jquery script being loaded. Might be a conflict with another plugin. You could try disabling all your plugins, then enable the Addons plugin to make sure the dropcap shortcode works. If it does, enable your other plugins one at a time to determine which one causes the issue.
even with all the plugins disabled it doesn’t work. I thought that the dropcap was something from theme and not from a plugin. I have shortcodes ultimate, but is doesn’t create the code for the dropcap that I used to work with..
The theme shortcodes are in the Addons plugin because the WP theme review team considered them to be “plugin territory” and wouldn’t allow them to be included in the theme. I ran a test site with the Addons plugin enabled and the dropcap works. I also installed Shortcodes Ultimate but it didn’t change anything. Just thinking out loud here; maybe try deleting and reinstalling the plugin. THe current version is here.
ahhaa it is working now, I was uploading the files all the time to the directory of the theme. because I thought it was part of the theme.
So now I uploaded it to the plugin directory and its up and running.
Thank you all!
