Using Woocommerce Dropbox plugin for purchases of downloadable products (mp3 files).

Product is purchased through Woocommerce, link is then emailed to customer after purchase on confirmation email. Link works but when accessed from the link on the confirmation email the file stops playing halfway through. Files play fine from Dropbox link pasted into browser. Issue predominantly on iPhones/iPads.

Suffix on files is ?dl=1, and link is showing file type of mp3 (i.e. .mp3?dl=1).

    Ta,
    Kelie

This forum is for core WooCommerce support – you’ll need to contact the author of “Woocommerce Dropbox plugin” for support with that. I’ve never used it.

Thanks Mike, I posted for the author of the plugin at the same time as I posted here, and haven’t had a response yet after three days.

Hopefully you’ll get one – I cannot support that product here.

    Hi Mike,

I still haven’t heard from the developer of the other plugin. I was hoping you might be able to provide an alternative solution for downloadable products purchased in Woocommerce other than to link them to a Dropbox file?

    Ta,
    Kele

You could simply host them on your websites server.
