I am trying to authorize backup to my dropbox account. Saved settings as instructed then clicked on ‘Authenticate with Dropbox:’ the next screen is just a blank one?

”You appear to be already authenticated” – even though I have not entered my dropbox credentials once. It’s not open on my PC and I haven’t visited dropbox website either.

Is there a way to confirm it is actually backing up to dropbox as nothing is appearing in my dropbox account either.

    Hi,

If you get a blank screen then it can’t be authenticated yet.

Try the “Wipe Settings” button in the ‘expert’ section.

If you still get the blank screen, then the almost certain cause is that another plugin is outputing debug output into the WordPress page. This breaks the Dropbox (and Google Drive) authentication protocols, which rely on no data being output before the proper headers get exchanged. Try disabling all your other plugins, then authenticating, then re-enabling them. If you can’t find the culprit, then you’ll have to try FTP, Amazon S3, Cloud files or Dreamobjects instead.
