• For some reason, the drop-down menus under News & Events and under Photos & Video are displaying behind the featured youtube video we have posted on this website, and not over it: http://www.kccprinceton.net/

It works fine on Firefox. Any ideas as to how to tweak it so that it works in Internet Explorer?

  • I just checked it out in IE7/8 under an XP emulator and both of those sections’ menus are appearing as they should as far as I can tell. Perhaps you’ve fixed it in the meantime. If you’re still having problems, the only thing I can think of is increasing the z-index value of your menus so they sit higher than everything on the page.

I tried increasing the z-index but I am still having the same problem using IE8 (I am on Windows 7)

See attached screenshot for what both myself and a few other people involved with the website are seeing:

So you are having no problems with it in IE?

Hmm, my Flash plug-in was out of date so the video wasn’t loading. The navigation was appearing over the spot it should have been, as you can see here:

I just updated Flash and now I’m having the exact same problem you are in IE8 where the menu is appearing behind the video.

Other than z-index I really don’t know what else to suggest. Sorry. Good luck getting it figured out.
