I’ve searched if anyone had a problem similar to mine but I couldn’t find anything. I’m using Twenty Ten theme (heavily modified child theme) and I reached a point where my navigation menu has too many links for my taste and I would like to put a few of them under a main one (‘about’ or the existing ‘meet the girl’).
I have set the pages to have ‘meet the girl’ as a parent because I understand this should create a dropdown menu, the only problem is that when I do so, the drop down menu is stuck there, always visible, overlapping the page. Ideally it would only appear when I hover over ‘meet the girl’, instead it’s always visible. I had to remove it whilst looking for a fix.

I assume I messed up something during my CSS shenanigans which is now preventing it from working.
If anyone could help I’d be eternally grateful!
You can drag and drop.
Dashboard > Appearance > Menus
I’m not sure what you mean?
I tried the Menu options but it’s not what I was looking for.
My problem is that I can create the dropdown menu but then it doesn’t ‘hide’, it’s always visible under the parent page link!
Unless the problem is visible on your site, there’s really no way for anyone to help debug it.
It’s live now, see? It’s stuck in there 🙁
(I’ll remove it soon, it’s super ugly!)
I’m not sure it would fix the issue I’m having with the dropdown 🙁
Sorry for the flood, I really have to take it down as it’s a high traffic day for me and I wont’ have access to internet in 10 minutes for the whole day. Thanks anyway, I’ll put it back up and up this thread another day 🙁
