 * i changed the text color to white and now the text in the drop-down menu istn’t
   readable due to its white bg. it shouldn’t be white in the first place, all other
   fields are transparent and i can’t find the css that is responsible. any ideas?

 * fixed it by changing the text color of only the ‘select’ class to black. white
   bg remains, but text is now readable.

 * I don’t know if you fixed it already, but I see the bg transparent and the text
   black on the selectbox. Everything else got a transparent background too, but
   white text.
 * Firefox 19 on Mac OS X 10.7
