# Drop down lists with post counts

 * Hi all
    I have searched but can’t find exactly what I’m after so I’ll ask here.
   I’m after drop down cat and arch lists that also have the post counts next to
   them…posible? Has anyone else done it yet? Also, I would prefer the links box
   to automatically open the page instead of having a ‘view button etc. Anyone help

 * While not quite what you’re after, using [dropdown_cats()](http://wiki.wordpress.org/dropdown_cats)
   
   and adding `onchange="submit()"` to the `<form>` tag is two-thirds of the way
   there…
