# Drop down list display problem

 * As of version 2.1.10, I’m seeing the ordinal of the database field when I list
   participants, in both front and back end, instead of the dropdown’s text value.
 * I can send you an example screen shot if that would be helpful.

 * Thanks for this, a quick check didn’t show the problem here, so to attempt to
   duplicate the problem, please post the field configuration. A link would much
   more helpful than a screenshot so I can inspect the HTML.

 * Thanks, a link is really what I need to diagnose it. The HTML looks fine, no 
   problems there.

 * The contents of the drop down list look like this:
 * 0::Alaweo Pl, 1::Alaweo St, 2::Aulena Pl, 3::Ehupua Pl, 4::Ehupua St, 5::Hanahanai
   Pl, 6::Hapai St, 7::Hawane, etc.
 * I can arrange for you to access the site, but it’s painful, and would require
   two different passwords to access. Please let me know if that’s what you need.

 * OK, there it is, your field is configured backwards, should be:
 * `Alaweo Pl::0, Alaweo St::1, Aulena Pl::2, Ehupua Pl::3, Ehupua St::4, Hanahanai
   Pl::5, Hapai St::6, Hawane::7`
 * The string before the :: is the display title for the value, the string after
   it is the value to be stored in the db.
