  • Having this same issue.

Also, if you add an additional product that is already in the cart (i.e. increase the quantity) the widget also does not update the number of items.

Can we have these issues fixed?

    Hi there!
Having the same problem! Cart doesn’t get updated.

I wouldn’t normally post this but since the developer is unresponsive I ended up going with this that works much better:

It’s $11 but worth it to avoid all the headache with this non-functioning dropdown cart.

Works on every page + responsive to boot.

I make it works(with ajax) with help of ajax-widget-area and some little changes of this plugin and woocommerce. If somebody is still interesting can explain how.

    I have the same problem.
Could you explain how you got it working?

    @ jlink:

I have not perfect but working improvement.
The first you need to install ajax-widget-area . Configure and make sure that Dropdown Cart Widget works. Then I made several changes in wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/assets/js/frontend/add-to-cart.min.js
    and between [fragments,cart_hash])}); and return!1 insert'http://yourdomainname/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php',{action: "get_ajax_sidebar"}, function(response) {e('#ajaxSidebar').html(response);} )

P.S. It’s works for me. It’s just refresh(when “add to cart” clicked) ajax-widjet-area that get new instance of “Dropdown Cart Widget”.

The simple solution – to remove the checkbox “Enable AJAX to add to cart button in the archives”. And plugin will work on all 100%. But there will be ajax animation for button add to cart/
