Drop down boxes

I’m having a problem with browser compatibility whereby in IE10 the woocommerce drop down boxes are disappearing off page, instead of realigning to fit.

Is there some style I can apply in my theme (custom) which would readdress the problem.

It appears fine in every browser, but the end user is concerned that it needs to work on every one.

This is due to long product descriptions, which cannot be shortened. I was wondering if I could set a width and make the text wrap. But I’m unsure as to how to do this properly. I’ve tried and failed.
