Dreamweaver to WordPress migration, same domain

  • Thanks for your time.

I am working to take an outdated website built on Dreamweaver and bring it to WordPress because of the benefits that come out of building using WordPress. I have rebuilt another website that was already on WordPress before, which meant I didn’t deal with any hosting or domain issues then. What I would like to know is how I can still use the old domain (kfgroup.net) but use WordPress. How can I make this migration? Further more, none of the data from the old website needs to be saved or used on the new WordPress site, it can all be taken down, thus probably making this easier for me.

I’ve read about installing WordPress on the host of the old website, but all of that seems a little unclear to me still, but with some clarity it should be an easy install.

If there is any other information necessary to answer this, please ask!
