    WP Power Stats 2.0 uses a completely new accurate method to detect only human visitors.

    Previous higher numbers were due to robots and bots scanning your site.

    Gosh. So despite excluding robots on the previous version, the stats weren’t accurate?

    Yes, the previous version could not detect all robots. Only some of them. Nowadays there is a ton of bots scanning wordpress sites: search engine crawlers, vulnerability scanners, caching servers etc.
