Plugin was enabled for about 24 hours. Average backend request time before activating the plugin was around 300ms. After enabling the WP Security Audit Log plugin the average time for a backend request went up to 3000ms, a 10x increase. See screenshot below for a Newrelic overview of the web transaction time. This is the backend only as frontend requests are completely separated in this setup.

I am sorry to hear you are encountering such a problem. While the plugin might increase slightly the load time of the back-end, it surely does not slow it down that much. In fact usually, if it does you can barely notice it.

So something is definitely wrong with our plugin running on your setup, and we would like to help you solve this issue.
