[Resolved] Downloaded theme – now the whole blog is down!

  • Hi,

    I downloaded a theme (unfortunately I don’t remember it’s name now, and now I can’t even get into my admin panel!) and now the whole blog is down!

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function register_meta() in /home/pernill1/public_html/wordpress/wp-content/themes/hatch/library/functions/meta.php on line 46

    What shall I do??

    Can you access the Dashboard?

    unfortunately I don’t remember it’s name now

    /themes/hatch

    Download or delete? Downloading shouldn’t be anything but copying from the server. And you have no Twentyeleven installed?

    Or do you mean that you uploaded a new theme? In that case use FTP or the control panel of your host to delete the newly installed theme.

    register_meta() is new since wp3.3 –

    what is your current WordPress version?

    it is possibly time for an update…

    yes I uploaded a theme…

    AND THANKS! I used the host control panel and deledted the theme (thanks for the theme name – although my user name, I am not a master hacker! ;))…

    And now I can get into the admin panel again!

    Yes, I will update WP right now! 🙂
