 * Please help me to solve a problem: when I “purchase” a downloadable file in my
   shop as a customer I get an e-mail with a link button. I download a file via
   this button, but I can’t open it, because it is in “view” format. It is actually
   a video file (placed on my google disk). The file on the disk is ok, but the
   downloaded file is in “view” format, which can’t be opened.
    Can You help?
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Fdownloadable-file-format%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)

 * Hi [@dashabest](https://wordpress.org/support/users/dashabest/),
 * WooCommerce allows for the same file extensions defined by WordPress. You can
   see the full list via WordPress Codex: [Uploading Files](https://codex.wordpress.org/Uploading_Files).
 * Just to clarify, what extension does your downloadable video file have? Also,
   can you provide a sample URL for us so we can check if we’re able to download
   and open the file?
 * Thanks.

 * It’s mp4. Today I trшув to “buy” a photo. It’s also a downloadable virtual file
   from my google disk, jpg format. And I also got a view format file instead of
   it. Which a can’t open also

 * And one more question: Grant access to downloadable products after payment
    Enable
   this option to grant access to downloads when orders are “processing”, rather
   than “completed” – should I enable this option for my virtual downloadable files
   or not?

 * Dear Sirs!
 * We have X-Accel-Redirect/X-Sendfile download method on our website. But it still
   doesn’t work ok.
    I tried to replace the script according to the information
   on your website – [https://ideas](https://ideas) .woocommerce.com/forums/133476-
   woocommerce/suggestions/40731010-litespeed-support-for-x-accel-redirect-x-sendfile
   but unfortunately no such file was found. Please, clarify where we can make changes.

 * Hey [@dashabest](https://wordpress.org/support/users/dashabest/),
 * Granting access to downloadable files immediately after payment is totally up
   to you. Most customers will expect that but you can do whatever works best for
   your business.
 * I took a look at the code from the ideas board. I believe it’s been modified.
   Lots of the text is in italics and I noticed that `apache_get_modules` had been
   changed to `apachegetmodules`. It looks like the snippet they posted has been
   rendered as if it was markdown.
 * That’s not something that I know how to fix for you. You could hire a developer
   to get that working. I can’t promise that code snippet will work or not even
   if it can be converted back to plain text.
 * If you need a freelance developer to help you out, there are ones at Codeable
   who would be happy to help.

 * Take care
